WRITING
“That's the great secret of creativity. You treat ideas like cats: you make them follow you.” ― Ray Bradbury, Zen in the Art of Writing
I do a lot of things. I'm sure you do too. We're all wicked busy and going in myriad directions. Fundamentally, though, I am a writer. Sometimes I use words, sometimes cameras, paint brushes, charcoals and ink. I write with flowers and herbs that bust out of seeds in the earth. Time in the kitchen, for me, is poetic. I scribble with lipstick on the bathroom mirror. I can spin a yarn, tell a tale, talk a good game. I have been known to correct people's grammar. It's a compulsion. I can't help myself. I love words and language. I am a writer. Everything else I do just gives me something to write about. I do it for fun, and sometimes profit. A taste of it can be found here. This is the word-y space I use to reinvent myself now and again. Thanks for stopping by. If you're looking for a writer, are a writer, want to be a writer, are seeking a word wrangler for this project or that, need someone to correct your grammar (don't tease me now) or you just dig words and wanna hang out, you've come to the "write" place.
I'm glad your hear.
If that sentence made you recoil, you're my people. Kick your shoes off, put your feet up, and stay a while.
I'm glad you're here.
